Ywam Durres is located on the western side of Albania in the coastal city of Durres. Durres was home to some of the first Christian families in Illyricum and the second-largest amphitheatre in the Balkans. Doing a DBS here means walking into Biblical history! Come place your feet in the land where Paul shared the gospel, journeyed, and ministered to churches across the ancient Roman Empire.
Albania spent 500 years under the Ottoman Empire, followed by 50 years under the Communist regime. Now, over 30 years later, Albania is a living testimony to the transformation God can bring to what was once a closed Muslim then Communist nation.

The YWAM Durres Campus is only a 10-minute walk from the beach where you can find plenty of coffee shops and restaurants, and go for a walk or a swim!
